From the Swat Valley, Pakistan, this is an old and unique piece of furniture. Handmade from hardwood, the chair sits on characterful turned feet. The sturdy upright fronts are decorated with finial tops and are carved with a running frieze of stylised flowers. The stunning central panel features stylised fern head motifs and a lotus bloom. The reverse of the panel is plain. The seat and back restraint are made from intricately woven and twisted leather. All surfaces are scuffed and marked - in keeping with a genuinely old, well-used piece of furniture.

Care information: Do not place in direct sunlight or close to heat sources, (radiators, etc.) Use a soft-bristled brush or a lightly dampened soft cloth to remove dust particles. Do not vacuum or use polishes or cleaning products.
