A useful circular table, with three carved legs protruding from a turned central spindle. The table top is painted in a distressed cream colour which makes a pleasing contrast to the natural wood finish on the legs. Our furniture supplier in Indonesia has a small workshop with twenty or so workers, located in a quiet, rural village amongst paddy fields. The production is small scale and traditional with many of the processes still carried out by hand. Undoubtedly this is the happiest factory we visit. The owners have become friends and we always look forward to our visits. CARE: We would recommend the use of coasters and mats to protect the wood from blooms caused by hot or wet items. Should a spill occur, immediately dry with a cloth. Polish with wax when looking dry. We recommend and sell John Mylands wax. Avoid placing real wood furniture close to heat sources.
