This incense holderhas been fairly traded from India using sustainable, accredited mango wood. Hand painted with a representation of Ganesha, the elephant-headed God, set against a rich sea blue background scattered with painted golden daisy motifs. Beautiful as well as functional, a groove running along the centre of the holder catches the ash as it falls. Ganesha represents wisdom, intellectual pursuits and ‘new beginnings’ - a perfect little keepsake for a gap year traveller or university student, perhaps?
