A fabulous large Victorian two-tone stoneware salt glace water jar, complete with original screw top and metal lever dispenser mechanism, (spigot).
The front face bears an underglazed decoration: CLAYTON’S PURE TABLE WATERS and a stamped mark: F41. The reverse face is stamped: CLAYTON’S LONDON S.W. The spigot is stamped CLAYTON’S
Condition: Good overall condition. Slight chipping to the screw thread, but this is not noticeable cosmetically and does not affect the operation of the screw top.
