Cleverly made to resemble two stacking books, this unusual keepsake box is made from softwood covered in recycled sheet aluminium with an aged silver-style finish. The design features a pair of Tree of Life images set within a frieze of traditional Indian flower images. The floral decoration continues along the edges and spine of the box. A hinged lid and simple spring clip fastener open to reveal an interior lined with vivid emerald green velveteen. The box edges are neatly finished with decorative aluminium strips in a similar floral pattern. The box base is covered in matching velveteen fabric and is fitted with four small resin feet. Handmade and fairly traded from India.
