A stunning hand painted chest of drawers featuring a pair of peacocks perched on an exotic vine surrounded by traditional mandala motifs. Bright red and vivid greens predominate and the sumptuous scene is set within a border of soft grey and yellow tones. The drawers are nicely finished with brass knobs and ‘stops’ - a safety feature that prevents the drawers falling forwards. The unpainted areas have been gently waxed to show off the natural grain. Handmade and fairly traded from India using sustainable, accredited mango wood and MDF.
